Glitter All Around

Hi again!

Have you had a nice christmas time?
I really enjoy to be with my family and to see a few of my friends again.

Yesterday I spend a whole day with my best friend and brought around 50 polishes to her place ;) So we spend a lot of our time with talking about nail art and I ended up painting her any my nails.
And somehow we both choose glitter ^^

1) My Manicure

Polishes I used:
  • Wild & Mild - 1$ Bill
  • Essence Nail Art Special Effect Topper - 10 Glorious Aquarius
I used 2 coats of the soft mint polish and on top one coat of the turquoise glitter. It is btw an amazing glitter topcoat with multiple sized turquoise glitter particles, holographic glitter and copper hexagon glitter.

My Friend´s Manicure
  • China Glaze - Hello Gorgeous
  • Essie - A Cut Above
  • China Glaze - Sweet Hook
I used Sweet Hook as a base coat and then started to create a soft gradient with Sweet Hook. To make the effect a little bit more bling I painted on a tiny layer of A Cut Above. The glitter particles are way bigger and made the gradient more stand out.

Enjoy the last day of 2012 :)

Easy Christmas Tree Nails

Ho ho ho!!!

I hope you all enjoyed christmas very much and celebrated with your family and friends :)

I am right now in Germany to see my family and seriously brought more than 50 polishes with me because I could not decide which I may need or not :D My dad said already "child, I love you, but you are crazy"

Yesterday I went to see one of my grandmas and I created christmas tree nails for her.

Polishes I used:
  • O.P.I. DS - Extravagance
  • O.P.I. - Don´t Mess With OPI
  • Claire´s Polish - Copper & Gold
  • Wet ´n Wild Fast Dry - Party of Five Glitters
  • Wild & Mild Nail Art Pen - Red
  • Wild & Mild Nail Art Pen - Yellow
  • Essie Good To Go as a topcoat
First I applied Extravagance as my base color. It is so damn sparkly and perfect, almost a 1 coater :)

After I used scotch tape to create a triangle shape and painted over with my green polish.
After I removed the tape I painted on my pointer and ring finger some of the multi-glitter and on my thumb, middle finger andn pinkie I used the gold & copper glitter - but always just for the trees.

As an extra detail I tried to paint on some candles with the red and yellow nail art pens, but this is just optional.

I finnished with gluing on a tiny star on top of my christmas trees and applied a fast drying topcoat.

Enjoy the rest of your week!!!

Christmas Nail Designs 2012

Merry Christmas Everybody!!!

Yes it is true - I am back :D

I am seriously sorry that I havent done ANYTHING in the last few month... kinda embarassing actually.
But I was so damn stressed with job and moving and othr trouble that I just... didnt do anything. Just average colours.

But now the dark times are (for now) over ^^

Since it is christmas time I designed a few things this year which I wanted to show you guys.
I unfortunately didnt do any progress pictures but at least the final results.

1) Present Nails
These nails I did already in the end ov november, and they were suuuper short. But whatever :D

I used pink as a base color, red glitter as a topper and created the presents with a white striper brush ;)

2) Winter Landscape Nails
Bad bad light but I hope you can still see well :)

Pearl blue as a background, snow with a white striper brush, trees with a tiny nail art brush and snow with a dotting tool :)

3) Snowflake Nails

Metallic blue (or blurple, it has a touch of purple in real) as a base, OPI Pirouette My Whistle glitter on top and snowflakes with a white striper brush ;)

I hope you liked it and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
