Cadillacquer - Serendipity

Moi :)

New day, new swatch ^^ Even it is raining here since almost 3 days, I tried to do my very best while taking pictures outside ;)

Today I wanna show you a very nice polosh from Cadillacquer, called Serentipity.
Cadillacquer is a new for me indie brand from, listen, Switzerland! Which makes me kinda happy as a german girl ;)
I just recently found her on her own etsy shop and was immediately impressed by these polishes!
So I grabbed 6 and I am very happy with all of them ^^ Will show them later to you when I haved the time.

Serendipity is a light blue creme polish with a hint of grey, very pretty.
It has a lot of different sized magenta colored glitter and I just love these combo!

Pictures taken with flash:

And now I took as well a few pics without flash but it was so grey and rainy outside, I feel the polish color is more true in my flash pictures :)

At least 2 more pics of the bottle.

Serendipity was a little patchy on it´s first coat but fully opaque with 2 layers of color. You may have to dab the second layer a little on with your brush to get all the glitter in position, but it was absolutely doable.
I topped with one coat of Essie Good To Go.

Now I´ll relax from my stressy workday and wish you a great rest of the week :D

Dollish Polish - Team Salvatore

Welcome dear polish-addicts ;)

I am super super excited about today´s swatches because
1) It´s  a Dollish Polish polish - my favourite indie maker, and
2) It´s related to one of my favourite tv shows ever: The Vampire Diaries *_*

Please, tell me that you love it, too, pleeeeease :D

The polish has the awesome name "Team Salvatore", and ment are both Salvatore brothers Damon & Stephan. Awww so cool ^^

Ok, I try to calm down now and show you what I am actually talking about.
The polish has a clear base and is PACKED with siver microglitter, red microglitter, black small hex glitter, silver small hex glitter, medium silver hex glitter and medium red square glitter - just perfect!

Let the pictures talk to you:

Now one picture in shadow

Team Salvatore is very easy to apply. You get a lot of glitter on the brush and don´t have to fish for it. I didnt get the large square glitter on all my nails, but on a few which was totally enough.
Dry time was pretty fast. I topped it with one coat of Essie Good To Go.

Here a shot of the pretty (old style) bottle

And my last credits go to the beauty which I used as a base color:
OPI "Her majesty´s secret service" - a super beautiful grey/blue/shimmer polish, opaque in 2 coats <3

You can purchase Dollish Polish on her own shop or over Llarowe.

Have a greet week!!!

CrowsToes - Heartshaped Box of Horse *!@#!

Ladies and (maybe) Gentleman, welcome back ;)

Yesterday in the kindergarten I slipped on a stupid little toy on the floor, bend myself to the right side to avoid falling, and dislocated something in my back.
After a lot of pain and a visit of the doctor I got diagnosed with a trapped nerv, got cracked back in place, got injection and painkillers and cannot work until monday now :/

At least I can pay more attention to my loved polishes now, this makes the pain a little better ^^

Today I wanna show you another beauty I just recieved 2 days ago from Llarowe
The brand is called CrowsToes, and the polish has an awesome name which made me laugh so badly :D Heartshaped Box of Horse *!@#! - it´s from this years valentine´s day collection.

The polish is a clear base, packed with micro and tiny red hex glitter, little brown square glitter and medium gold hex glitter. Just an awesome glitterbomb in a great color combo.

I decided to layer this beauty over China Glaze Something Sweet, a cotton candy pink polish, opaque in 2 coats.

Here one shot of Something Sweet on its own.

Now back to my CrowsToes beauty - it is just stunning! Application was very easy, you get a TON of glitter on the brush and its very simple to place it on the nail. Dry time was totally average. I topped the polishes with one coat of Essie Good to Go.

Now one picture how the polish looks in the shadow.

And, as last, a close up shot of the bottle :)

Hope you enjoyed my swatches - have a great wednesday everybody!!

Emily de Molly - Insomnia

Good morning !!

Today I have a very cool black jelly polish to show you, I wear it right now and its awesome ^^

I anyway have a little weak spot for purple and black polishes, but if there is as well glitter included I am basically instantly in love :D

The polish is from the indie brand Emily de Molly, called Insomnia, and I purchased it from her llarowe store right here, but you can get it as well from her Etsy store.

She is so awesome and the polishes are just breathtaking...unfortunately as well most of the time sold out...I own currently just 2 bottles, but I really hope for more in the future :)

Insomnia is a black jelly with holographic microglitter, tiny white square glitter, tiny hex holographic glitter and medium white hex glitter.

Here is how it looks with one coat

This is 2 coats without topcoat

Any other blogger so far used 3 coats, but I was kinda happy with how it looks after 2 coats, so I just cleaned it up and finnished with Sally Hansen Insta Dri topcoat
If you wanna add a little more darkness, you probably have to go with 3 coats.

Its so sad how my camera is not able to show the glitter in this polish. It really sparkels so nice in the sun :)

Here one shot with flash.

The application was smooth and very uncomplicated. Dry time was average.

I really like the combo of white glitter and black jelly, have nothing like tbis in my collection so far :)

Here a shot of the bottle, enjoy the beauty ^^

And finally a blurry shot to catch a little of the holographic glitter

What do you think about this polish and the brand in general?

Enjoy your sunday!!!

Dollish Polish - Dino-mite Yoshi

Happy Thursday!!

Finally we are having spring here in Finland, so awesome. Now, in may (almost a month after Germany) the leaves are showing up and it is getting warmer - 17°C today *_*

But now to the interesting part!
I have to show you a polish from my favourite indie maker, Dollish Polish.

It´s name is Dino-mite Yoshi and it is out of her Super Mario Brothers Collection.

It is copper/orange microglitter, tiny green hex glitter, tiny red square glitter, and medium pastel yellow hex glitter (almost eggshell color) in a clear base - an awesome glitter combo which I never saw like this before :)

I used one coat of Dino-mite Yoshi over China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, best combination ever in my opinion ^^

It was easy to apply. With one coat I almost had a great mix already on my nails, and with a little brush dabbing you get actually totally what you want in place.
It was very smooth and dried surprisingly fast. I used one layer of Sally Hansen Insta Dri Topcoat on top.

You can purchase Dollish Polish polishes on her own homepage, right here, or over Llarowe.

Here 2 more shots of the bottles.

I think its an awesome polish, let me know your opinions about :)

Enjoy your day!
